If I use a Canadian domain registrar (SiberName.com) to reg the domains in .eu zone, will it be wise? Or would it better to reg it with a European domain registrar?

If you use Sibername.com as a hosting provider, then why not go for domain name registration with them, other wise there are Europe-based registrars like Eurodns.com that will be a better choice in the situation (they offer a discount for .eu at the moment at their site www.eurodns.com).

I do not see any importance of the location of your registrar. The more important thing is reliability.
As I know sibername.com is reliable company and is accredited by ICANN and CIRA. If the pricing is affordable for you, I do not think you should pay to much attention to where the registrar is located. |

Using sibername.com is a good idea itself. But it allows you to register .eu only if you are european resident. That would not be wise only from that standpoint.
Actually I suppose .eu domain is reserved only for Europe citizens and legal structures. |
